Hose articles with very special properties

Our hose articles and rubber sleeves are characterised by high pressure, temperature and media resistance.

We manufacture simple rubber sleeves that connect pipes and moving machine parts, as well as individual rubber industrial hoses and rubber spiral hoses, according to your needs.

An industrial hose is a collective term for rubber hoses without a spiral, available in a wide variety of dimensions, qualities and designs. We supply industrial hoses in all common rubber types, which are optimally matched to the respective application.

Depending on the pressure load and the required flexibility, synthetic fibres or wire mesh are used for the inserts. The inserts are wound.
To protect against external influences, industrial hoses can be equipped with spirals or wrappings made of glass or ceramic fibre fabric

Rubber hoses in smaller dimensions are generally manufactured as industrial hoses. Spiral hoses are often used for larger nominal diameters.
The spirals make it possible to reduce the wall thickness considerably for larger inner diameters without reducing the stability of the hose. Furthermore, the spirals prevent the hose from being sucked together at higher vacuum levels. In addition, a smaller bending radius is possible while maintaining the full hose cross-section.

Rubber sleeves and hose sections

A quick and inexpensive way to connect pipes or moving machine parts to each other is by means of a sleeve that is fixed on each side with hose clamps.

This type of fastening is usually easy to assemble. The hose clamps are adjustable for all sizes. The connection can be used for round or oval pipes, regardless of diameter, circumference, height and length.

Sleeves or hose sections can be used for rigid and oscillating pipe connections and are used, for example, for material locks, weighing equipment or flexible silo inlets.

Homogeneously vulcanised rubber sleeves are ideally suited for problematic pipe transitions. A smooth transition is ensured, even in the connection area. In addition, material thickening is avoided. This ensures dust-free conveying even of powdery materials.

Customised designs – cylindrical or funnel-shaped – in different sizes and materials can be realised on request.

Industrial hoses straight

As a rule, one or more layers of rubber are vulcanised to form a hose.
The hoses consist of an inner layer (core), a carrier material on top and another layer for mechanical and/or chemical protection on the outside.
Depending on the requirements, the structure and composition can vary greatly. With suitable materials, hoses can be produced for almost all requirements. The hoses are usually first wound on a mandrel and then vulcanised. The mandrel is then removed again. If necessary, the hoses are ground to the required size.

Rubber hoses are always used when the special chemical and physical properties of the material to be conveyed require flexibility in conveying, dosing or shutting off. For these so-called cores, we use rubber types optimised for the individual application. There are no general rules for their selection; they are chosen individually on the basis of customer information.

We produce industrial hoses for very different applications, e.g. as sleeves for pinch valves, pump hoses or pipe rehabilitation packers. Here are some examples:

Cuff pinch valves

Cufffor pinch valves

Pinch valves or hose pinch valves usually consist of a tubular, round or elliptical through-housing and a piece of elastomeric hose inserted therein as a sleeve, which is sealed at both ends by a flange or sleeve to the housing.

The sleeve for the pneumatically actuated pinch valve is produced by us as a hand-made part. The sleeve is made of high-quality elastomers with highly elastic fabric inserts to meet the most diverse and demanding applications of our customers.

Furthermore, the AL rubber squeeze valve sleeves are assembled with multi-layer complex fabric inserts to achieve very long service lives/cycle frequencies. The structure is decisive for cycle frequency and closing and opening characteristics.

Pipe rehabilitation packerand sheet packers

Pipe rehabilitation or bend packers are used to repair damaged sewage pipes as a cost-effective alternative to exposing and replacing damaged pipes. If there is only individual damage to otherwise intact pipes in places that are difficult to reach, rehabilitation always makes sense.

We manufacture the rubber components for the rehabilitation packers in-house.

The rehabilitation packers are available from us in different versions, which differ in their nominal diameters. The application variants range from DN 30-100 mm to 300-1000mm. We will be happy to supply you with individual lengths on request. The production of our rehabilitation packers is done by hand and thus guarantees the highest quality standard.

Another service of our company is the repair of your packer. Simply send us your defective packer and we will repair it within the shortest possible time. Simply send us an enquiry for this purpose.

Pleated hose

A corrugated hose is a highly flexible connecting element in the pressure and vacuum range. Corrugated hoses are corrugated on the inside and outside and can be manufactured with or without a spiral.

As a rule, they have a highly abrasion-resistant natural rubber core. The cover is made of abrasion-resistant and weather-resistant NR/ SBR. The insert is a tension-resistant fabric insert and, if required, has a concealed spiral made of spring steel wire.
The advantages: this makes them extremely wear-resistant, very flexible and compressible.

Bridge drainage hose

They are used as flexible connecting elements between pipelines in bridge structures to compensate for thermal linear expansions and to drain surface water. Available in highly flexible design, with or without socket extension. As a rule, they operate without pressure.
The core and cover are continuously corrugated with concealed integrated steel wire spirals and corresponding fabric inserts.

Sweeper hoses

A highly flexible sweeper hose is manufactured for use on road, airfield and large-scale sweepers, in high-quality hand-manufactured form. The hose for sweepers is primarily used as a suction hose, but can also be used just as well as a leaf suction hose.

Due to the use of our high-quality rubber compounds, the hose is extremely wear-resistant and guarantees very long service life, great flexibility and axial mobility. Due to the variable design of rubber quality, profiling and wall thickness, an individual adjustment to the respective vehicle type can be made. This hose is manufactured specifically for your requirements. Please let us know the nominal width, hose and socket length so that we can provide you with an individual offer.

Rubber spiral hoses

The rubber spiral hose is an industrial hose for rubber hoses with spiral.

We supply industrial hoses in all common rubber types, which are optimally matched to the respective application depending on the stress.
Depending on the pressure load and the required flexibility, cotton, synthetic fibres or wire mesh are used for the inserts. The interlinings are either wound or braided.
To protect against external influences, industrial hoses can be equipped with spirals, braids or coverings made of glass or ceramic fibre fabric.

Structure Rubber sleeves and technical hose articles

As a rule, one or more layers of rubber are vulcanised to form a hose.
The hoses consist of an inner layer (core), a carrier material (fabric) on top and another layer for mechanical and/or chemical protection of the outside.

Depending on the requirements, the structure and composition can vary greatly.
With suitable materials, hoses can be produced for almost all requirements. The hoses are usually first wound on a mandrel and then vulcanised. The mandrel is then removed again.

For special applications such as pinch valve sleeves, the sleeves are ground to a defined external dimension so that they can be inserted into the pinch valves.

Hose types

Industrial hoses are technical hose articles that are constructed as described above.
They have a rubber core, with or without fabric insert, and a rubber cover.

Spiral hoses are constructed like industrial hoses, but have a concealed spiral. This can be corrugated on the outside or, depending on the design, smooth and fabric-patterned on the outside.

Pleated hoses are constructed like industrial hoses. They are spirally corrugated on the outside as well as on the inside. They are usually made without a spiral.

The advantages and material propertiesof silicone at a glance

In principle, we only manufacture our rubber sleeves and technical hose articles from elastomers. The choice of materials here is very extensive.

We have all common rubber qualities (wear-resistant, antistatic, oil-resistant, heat-resistant, chemically resistant and foodstuff qualities) in our range. The sleeves are available in different elastomer qualities. This means that different resistances, areas of application and operating temperatures are possible. Your application determines the choice of material in each case.

Versions in electrically conductive or food quality are also possible.
